Customer Service Sales Representative - Retirement Living

About the role

Aveo, a retirement living provider with 30 years' experience, is hiring a Contact Centre Sales Consultant (Customer Service Sales Representative) for its CBD office in Wynyard. You will connect prospective residents and their families with retirement living options that fit their needs and lifestyle, building relationships and arranging open home tours. The role reports to the Contact Centre Team Leader, is permanent full-time Monday to Friday, with one rotating Saturday per month and a rostered day off.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with prospective residents and their families to explore Aveo's retirement living options
• Become a knowledgeable advocate for retirement living, supported by full training
• Coordinate and book open home tours for Village Sales Managers using Outlook and CRM systems
• Respond to enquiries by phone, email, web chat and Facebook
• Work with the team to meet shared targets and deliver a positive customer experience

Required profile

• A background in customer service, sales, retail or hospitality is great, but call centre experience is not essential
• Strong verbal communication and phone skills, with interest in connecting with older Australians and their families
• Positive, energetic attitude and willingness to work toward shared team goals
• Confident problem solver who can take initiative and work independently when needed

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
