Outbound Sales Executive - Foodservice

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for an Outbound Sales Executive to help grow its Australian Foodservice business. Based at the Macquarie Park office with hybrid working, you will connect with new and existing customers, convert leads, uncover sales opportunities and build relationships. You will work alongside the Field Sales and Marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls, qualify leads and win new customers.
• Grow existing accounts by uncovering new opportunities and introducing customers to the products.
• Follow up leads from marketing campaigns, trade shows and online enquiries.
• Build strong customer relationships, understand their needs and negotiate outcomes.
• Own the sales pipeline, manage call cycles and keep Salesforce records up to date.
• Hit sales, volume and margin targets while delivering a great customer experience.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, ideally in FMCG, Foodservice or B2B.
• Confidence on the phone, with a knack for building rapport, influencing and closing sales.
• A competitive streak, resilience and motivation to achieve targets.
• Strong communication, organisation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, learning-driven attitude.

Required skills

• Confidence using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
