OT Security Engineer – Critical Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an OT Security Engineer to protect the critical infrastructure of a leading Australian organisation. You will work across both IT and OT environments, securing industrial control systems that keep essential services running.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and support OT and industrial control system (ICS) environments.
• Implement and improve network segmentation, monitoring and cyber controls across critical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and operational teams to raise security maturity.
• Respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities and emerging threats in both IT and OT.
• Contribute to Zero Trust, vulnerability management and security architecture initiatives.
• Drive security improvements across cloud, network and endpoint technologies.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in cyber security, network security or infrastructure engineering.
• Exposure to OT, ICS or critical infrastructure environments, or a strong desire to move into OT security.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and operational stakeholders.
