OSHC Coordinator - St John the Apostle, Florey

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is looking for an OSHC Coordinator for its St John the Apostle OSH Club in Florey. You will lead a team of Educators and oversee a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12, running activities such as STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts. The role is permanent and part-time, at 31 hours per week including 6 non-contact paid admin hours, split into two shifts: 7:00-9:00am and 3:00-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Create and lead a dynamic, child-centred program with engaging activities
• Take full ownership of the team's roster and manage day-to-day operations
• Ensure compliance and handle admin tasks
• Foster teamwork and growth, supported by regional managers and a dedicated office team

Required profile

• A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow
• Holds or is willing to obtain a national police check (paid by the employer)
• State working-with-children check
• Australian working rights
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko)
• First Qualified Educator status in ACT (working towards or completed), or ORACT Second and subsequent Qualified Educator status in ACT
