About the role
Junior Adventures Group is seeking an experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead its before‑ and after‑school care programs in Southern River. You will create a safe, welcoming environment where children aged 5‑12 can learn, play and thrive.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Educators across the Rise then Shine (6:30 am‑9:00 am) and Stay and Play (2:00 pm‑6:15 pm) programs.
- Maintain high standards of quality, compliance and safeguarding.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations, rosters and administrative tasks, including 5 hours of paid non‑contact time.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, schools and the regional manager.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in children’s services, education or a related field (WA First Qualified Educator).
- Previous experience as an OSHC Coordinator, 2IC, or senior Room Leader.
- Strong knowledge of compliance, safeguarding and quality practices.
- Ability to coach educators, manage competing priorities and take ownership of service operations.
Required skills
- National police check (covered by employer).
- State working‑with‑children check.
- Australian working rights.
- Completion of National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding.
