OSHC Coordinator – Padbury

About the role

The OSHC Coordinator will lead the before‑ and after‑school care service in Padbury, creating a safe, engaging environment for children aged 5‑12. You will manage daily operations, support a team of educators, and build strong relationships with families and the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day service delivery for Rise then Shine (7:00‑9:00) and Stay and Play (2:30‑6:00) programs.
• Lead, mentor and schedule a team of educators, ensuring high‑quality, child‑centered activities such as STEM, sports, cooking, and arts & crafts.
• Maintain compliance with ACECQA standards, manage rosters, and handle administrative tasks including paid non‑contact hours.
• Foster positive team culture and strong connections with families, schools, and the wider community.

Required profile

• Proven experience in OSHC or a senior OSHC role (Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, Responsible Person).
• Leadership ability with a passion for guiding and developing staff.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check, WA Working with Children check, and Australian working rights.
• Completed ACECQA‑recognised qualification (WA First Qualified Educator) and National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding.
