OSHC Coordinator I - Mount Archer

About the role

Helping Hands Mount Archer, a part of Junior Adventures Group, is seeking an OSHC Coordinator to lead a team of Educators and oversee a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. The service supports around 45-60 children in the afternoon and about 30 in the morning, in a roll-in, roll-out setting with an office, kitchen, outdoor space and gardens.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Educators and build a positive, inclusive team culture
• Design and run a child-centred program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts
• Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration
• Partner with families, the school community and internal stakeholders to keep the service growing

Required profile

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2-Year Qualified Educator in QLD under ACECQA
• Natural leader with strong communication skills
• Team player who inspires others
• National Child Safety Training completed before onboarding (via Gecko)
• Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
• Australian work rights

• Permanent part-time role of 34.5 hours per week, split shifts Monday to Friday, including 5 hours of admin time
• Pay of up to $46 per hour plus super
