OSHC Assistant Coordinator - Success Area

About the role

Junior Adventures Group is looking for an experienced Outside School Hours Care Assistant Coordinator to join its OSHClub service in the Success area. This is a permanent part-time position of 27.5 hours per week, covering both before-school (7:00am–9:00am) and after-school (2:30pm–6:00pm) care, with possible extra hours during school holidays. You will work alongside your Coordinator and a team of Educators, with guidance from the Regional Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel supported and valued.
• Use positive behaviour guidance strategies to support children's social and emotional development.
• Support the team in delivering engaging, child-led activities and experiences.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the school community.
• Assist with service operations, compliance and administration.
• Deliver programs that encourage children to learn, grow and have fun.

Required profile

• Previous experience in childcare, outside school hours care or an education and care setting.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach, able to adapt to children's individual needs.
• Experience using positive behaviour guidance strategies.
• Completed qualification recognised for First Qualified Educator requirements in WA under ACECQA.
• Australian working rights and a valid Working with Children Check; willing to get a National Police Check and complete National Child Safety Training through Gecko.
• Available Monday to Friday for both morning and afternoon shifts.
