Oracle ERP Finance Lead

About the role

A recruiter is looking for an Oracle ERP Finance Lead for a long-standing client, based in Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne. The role sits within the Oracle Cloud ERP team, which delivers end-to-end Oracle transformation projects across a diverse portfolio of onshore and offshore clients, covering the full lifecycle from project initiation through go-live and post-implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to understand their business needs, analyse requirements and design Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
• Lead collaborative workshops to demonstrate capability, gather requirements and guide clients on best practice and cloud adoption.
• Prepare clear, detailed configuration documents and functional specifications.
• Contribute to presales activities, including proposal development and solution support.
• Grow Oracle Cloud expertise through training, self-learning and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Recent, hands-on implementation experience as a functional lead with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle ERP (essential).
• Lead experience from a functional perspective.
• Solid understanding of finance processes and the ability to translate them into functional system requirements.
• Consulting mindset with strong documentation, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communicator who enjoys working with clients and building relationships.
• Australian PR or citizenship (required for all roles).

Required skills

• Configuration and/or support in at least three or four of GL, AP, AR, Cash Management (beneficial)
• Additional knowledge of Source-to-Pay or Projects is beneficial

Occasional travel to Indonesia is part of the role.
