Ophthalmology Veterinary Nurse (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the role

ARH Homebush, a referral hospital founded in 1999 and offering specialist and emergency care since then, is seeking an experienced and confident Veterinary Nurse to join its Ophthalmology team. This is a full-time, 12-month maternity leave contract in Homebush West, Sydney, with training provided for those without an ophthalmology background.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Experience working in an emergency and specialty hospital
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to high clinical standards, attention to detail and organisation
• A calm, proactive approach in a busy referral environment
• Ophthalmology background is highly regarded but not essential, as training is provided
