Operator Team Member – Afternoon Shift

About the role

BlueScope's Service Centre is looking for Operators in its Processing and Logistics team at its Wingfield, SA plant. The role works in a continuous production environment, operating machinery or working in warehousing to make steel products while monitoring quality and staying safe. Training and support are provided, and the position is open to people with or without steel industry experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery to manufacture steel products safely
• Pack and strap steel products
• Perform machinery maintenance and cleaning
• Use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts
• Contribute to a safe working environment and look after your own safety and that of your team
