Operator Awareness Monitoring Centre Officer

About the role

WorkPac is recruiting an Operator Awareness Monitoring Centre Officer for its client's team in West Wallsend, NSW. The position is casual, paid $57.58 per hour at a flat rate, and involves 12-hour shifts covering both night and day. The client is a commodity sourcing business focused on safety, integrity and responsible operations.

Key responsibilities

• Use available skills to support the GCAA businesses in operating at optimum efficiency and effectiveness
• Support the Operator Awareness Monitoring Centre Supervisor in meeting and delivering the technical expectations of the sites
• Comply with policies, systems and procedures, using skills and experience to maximise work output
• Consider safety, environmental and cost impacts when planning and carrying out work

Required profile

• Open to people with a mining background or similar role experience
• Ability to pass a Coal Board medical

• Basic computer skills
• Driver's licence
