Operations Manager – Sydney CBD

About the role

The Operations Manager joins ALO’s store leadership team in Sydney CBD, driving the operational strategy of the studio. You will ensure the store is always ready for customers by overseeing inventory, labor planning, and daily processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and support execution of core operational processes across the store.
• Investigate and resolve inventory accuracy issues, escalating system gaps when needed.
• Maintain strong operational standards on the sales floor using performance data.
• Manage sell‑through by ensuring accurate inventory counts and coordinating labor for product deliveries.
• Support a safe and efficient work environment.
• Partner with the General Manager on budgeting, reporting, and business metrics (expenses, sell‑through, etc.).
• Lead the Operations team, providing coaching, talent development, and clear communication of ALO’s mission.
• Develop schedules that align with business strategy in collaboration with the General Manager.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of retail or related industry leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑changing environment.
• Independent work ethic with solid time‑management and accountability.
