Operations Manager - Modular Buildings

About the role

A globally recognised provider of modular buildings, workforce accommodation and logistics solutions is recruiting an Operations Manager in Townsville, Queensland. The role takes ownership of site and yard operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably, and leads operational teams, oversees modular building installations and coordinates contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the execution of modular building installations, retrofits and service works
• Oversee project delivery, cost control, quality assurance and compliance documentation
• Lead operational, yard and installation teams and foster a strong safety culture
• Coordinate contractors, trades and project stakeholders
• Manage hire fleet operations and maintain assets to company standards
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and client site requirements
• Support project programming, resource allocation and operational improvements

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in construction, project delivery or operational management
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and subcontractors
• Construction White Card and Site Supervisor Licence
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or currently working towards completion
• Previous experience in modular construction, building services or a similar operational leadership role is highly regarded
