Operations Manager – Manufacturing & Logistics

About the role

Peak Lubricants is seeking an Operations Manager to run day‑to‑day activities across its manufacturing headquarters and distribution centre in Dandenong South. You will act as the hub that keeps customers satisfied, operations efficient, and cash flow healthy while supporting the Directors in growing the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own relationships with mid‑tier private‑label customers, ensuring on‑time delivery and proactive issue resolution.
• Lead a cross‑functional team covering production, warehousing, procurement, logistics, sales and administration.
• Project‑manage major orders and maintain ISO 9001 certification.
• Approve supplier payments, monitor debtor days and set optimal inventory levels alongside the Company Accountant.
• Participate in monthly strategy meetings with the Directors and execute agreed priorities.

Required profile

• Commercial instincts – comfortable speaking with $1M customers and frontline staff alike.
• Proven experience leading a team of six or more in a hands‑on operational environment.
• Practical, pragmatic decision‑making and strong organisational follow‑through.
• Tech‑savvy, comfortable using Cin7, MRPEasy, Xero and custom AI‑enhanced tools.
• Likeable, high‑integrity professional who can set the tone for a mid‑sized business.
