Operations Manager - Knock Down Rebuild & Dual Occupancy

About the role

ABN Group, Australia's leading construction, property and finance company, is looking for an experienced operational leader to join its Victorian Operations Leadership Team as Operations Manager for Knock Down Rebuild and Dual Occupancy. The role leads a large team and drives operational excellence across one of the most specialised parts of the residential building industry, guiding customers from sales through to site commencement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop Team Managers and the wider team, building leadership capability, succession pathways and future talent
• Drive workflow best practices and operational efficiency across the pre-construction journey
• Monitor and improve pre-construction timeframes, productivity and service delivery metrics
• Lead workforce planning and resource management
• Partner with Sales, Drafting, Estimating, Building and other teams to improve customer and business outcomes
• Lead change initiatives and implement new processes and ways of working
• Provide reporting, insights and recommendations to support operational performance and decision making

Required profile

• Proven experience leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people leadership, with a passion for coaching, mentoring and developing future leaders
• Demonstrated success leading change and driving continuous improvement
• Residential building and construction experience is essential; exposure to Knock Down Rebuild and Dual Occupancy is highly regarded
