Operations Director

About the role

Globant is seeking an Operations Director to scale its global delivery model and act as the trusted partner for regional customers. You will work closely with senior client leadership (VPs and C‑suite) to build strong relationships, identify business opportunities, and ensure high‑quality delivery across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Scale and optimize a global delivery model while providing local coverage and frequent client interaction (steering meetings, quarterly reviews, executive networking).
• Identify client needs, translate them into business opportunities, and prepare Globant to deliver with appropriate lead time.
• Proactively manage risks, oversee delivery status, handle escalations, and decide the most suitable engagement type.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director and VP of Technology to expand services in the Asia‑Pacific region and help set up a regional hub.
• Participate in M&A activities, assess and integrate acquired companies, and stay informed on client industry trends.
• Lead people management initiatives: design governance structures, build and coach delivery teams, mentor offshore and local talent, and promote Globant’s culture and values.
• Align delivery operations with Globant’s strategic and financial goals to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of client business models, financial situations, industry news, and key players.
• Proven experience in account planning, business development, and expanding services into new markets.
• Strong background in M&A assessment and integration.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing delivery teams, coaching staff, and fostering high performance.
• Ability to work with senior executives and influence strategic decisions.
