Operations Coordinator - Toowoomba Depot

About the role

Veolia Environmental Services is looking for a proactive, reliable and organised Operations Coordinator for its Toowoomba depot. The role supports the team in delivering excellent service to customers and clients and keeps drivers busy and safe. It covers the overall coordination of depot operations, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall operations of the Toowoomba depot, including scheduling driver and sub-contractor runs, pickups and deliveries
• Process run sheets, emails and vehicle service schedules, and handle customer service requests
• Support the team with administration tasks
• Accurately and on time invoice and report
• Supervise and manage drivers, and monitor driver fatigue and safety
• Liaise with the workshop and manager on vehicle breakdowns and defects
• Meet customer demands and expectations

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in logistics, coordination or scheduling
• People, relationship and communication skills
• Accuracy with a strong attention to detail
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol screening, and a National Police Clearance

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Google platform (desirable)
