Operations Coordinator

About the role

A newly created Operations Coordinator position at the Coopers Plains facility, reporting to the Site Operations Manager. It supports both InfraBuild Reinforcing and ARC and combines inventory control, despatch coordination, operational administration and stakeholder management. The role is a key link between internal teams and external stakeholders, helping maintain inventory accuracy, product traceability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily stock counts, cycle counts, stocktakes and stock reconciliations to keep inventory accurate
• Monitor and report on production, work in progress and despatch activities, giving timely updates to stakeholders
• Track and reconcile scrap inventory
• Raise and receive purchase orders and give administrative support across operational functions
• Build working relationships with production partners and internal stakeholders
• Support quality, audit and product traceability requirements and stay compliant with operational procedures
• Balance administrative duties with regular site engagement, including physical stock checks

Required profile

• Experience in an operations, inventory, logistics, despatch or administration role
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of your workload and manage competing priorities
• Proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to spend time on the operational floor
• Reliable work ethic with a commitment to safety, compliance and quality outcomes

Required skills

• Strong computer literacy and confidence learning and using multiple systems
• Attention to detail, especially in inventory management, reporting and data entry
• Communication and stakeholder management skills
