Operations Administration Officer

About the role

The Operations Administration Officer coordinates the full lifecycle of customer orders, from receipt through to invoicing, while providing comprehensive administrative support to the Gemco Rail office in Forrestfield, WA.

Key responsibilities

• Process orders in SAP, create jobs, and manage invoicing.
• Maintain accurate reporting and document control throughout each project.
• Support production teams and supervisors with work‑in‑progress (WIP) management and scheduling.
• Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth order flow.
• Handle compliance reporting and general office administration tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing or finance administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability with high attention to detail.
• Capability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.
