Operational Technology Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join Mangoola Coal’s operational technology team as a Maintenance Technician. You will ensure the reliability and performance of critical OT systems that support our open‑cut coal operation.

Key responsibilities

• Follow maintenance and service plans for Operational Technology (OT) systems as directed by the OT Engineer.
• Perform day‑to‑day maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of OT equipment, including Collision Awareness System (CAS) and PCN communication systems.
• Support fleet management systems such as Leica, Modular, Guardvant and VIMs.
• Promote a high level of safety performance and uphold Mangoola Coal’s values.
• Minimise environmental impact and foster positive relationships with stakeholders and the community.

Required profile

• Electrical trade qualification.
• Demonstrated self‑leadership, positive attitude and proactive work ethic.
• Ability to follow plans and adapt to a changing environment.
• Commitment to personal and professional development.

Required skills

• Experience with open‑cut mining fleet management systems (Leica, Modular, Guardvant, VIMs).
• Knowledge of heavy earth‑moving machinery and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
• Familiarity with Collision Awareness System (CAS) and PCN communication systems.
