Offshore Supply Chain Support Coordinator

About the role

The Offshore Supply Chain Support Coordinator will ensure seamless support for Qantas Engineering base maintenance checks performed by offshore MRO partners. Based in Sydney, the role involves extended travel to locations such as Abu Dhabi, Dresden, China, Manila, Singapore and Hong Kong to coordinate parts supply on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Track and manage part deliveries for base checks, ensuring timely availability.
• Handle unserviceable returns and record usage in the SUPPLY system.
• Raise and receipt demands, aligning parts availability with maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with offshore MRO teams, on‑site Check Coordinators and the Line & Base Event Management Team Leader.
• Maintain accurate records in ONBASE, QMS and related logistics platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain functions including purchasing, repair, warehousing and inventory management.
• Strong understanding of aircraft line and base maintenance operations.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and across culturally diverse teams.
• Willingness to undertake extended international travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SUPPLY system and SUPPLY macros.
• Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel.
• Mxi, ONBASE, QMS, eSchenker and QF Freight platforms.
