About the role
EnerMech is seeking a permanent Offshore Crane Maintenance Technician to work primarily offshore, ensuring reliable operation of pedestal cranes and related equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine and planned maintenance, repairs, and inspections on pedestal cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, winches, sheaves, ropes, and related components.
- Document maintenance tasks, manage spares usage, and carry out functional testing where trained.
- Assist the platform maintenance crew on other mechanical plant as directed by offshore installation management.
Required profile
- Mechanical Trade Qualification (Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter).
- Experience with inspection, maintenance and repair of cranes and lifting equipment.
- Ability to read OEM manuals and engineering drawings.
Required skills
- Hydraulic and mechanical fault finding.
- Wire rope replacement and reeving.
- Brake system maintenance.
- Crane major inspections and shutdowns.
