Occupational Therapist

About the role

Lifecare Homecare, part of the APM Group, is hiring a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist in Melbourne. You will provide high-quality assessments and interventions to support clients' independent living, covering effective assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality Occupational Therapy services tailored to each client's needs, using a person-centred approach
• Assess clients and provide interventions in their own homes
• Work with Case Managers, Allied Health Professionals, GPs and other health professionals to provide effective client care
• Write reports meeting the standards of funding bodies such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and HCP providers
• Maintain relationships with Case Managers, GPs, community centres and other referrers

Required profile

• Ocupational Therapy degree with general AHPRA registration
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and independently in the community
• Enjoyment of working with older adults and adult disability clients
• Full working rights in Australia
• Clean driver's licence, access to your own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or able to obtain them
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check after a successful application
