Occupational Therapist – Hobart Clinic

About the role

Ability Action Australia is seeking a registered Occupational Therapist to join its Hobart clinic. You will work with NDIS participants of all ages, delivering community‑based OT services and supporting them to achieve greater independence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a mixed clinic‑based and mobile caseload across Hobart and surrounding areas.
• Assess, plan and deliver evidence‑based OT interventions for participants at home, school, work and in the community.
• Recommend home modifications and assistive technology to enhance independence.
• Provide ongoing support to participants, bringing warmth and humour to daily interactions.

Required profile

• AHPRA‑registered Occupational Therapist.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably with community or NDIS clients.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Genuine passion for disability supports and improving participant outcomes.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NDIS processes and participant funding structures.
• Ability to conduct assessments and develop personalised intervention plans.
