Occupational Therapist – Flexible Community Role

About the role

Join Ability Action Australia, a national NDIS provider, as an Occupational Therapist delivering community‑based services. You will work with participants of all ages, supporting their independence and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload and deliver therapeutic services aligned with participant goals.
• Assess emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical function.
• Develop evidence‑based treatment goals and interventions tailored to each individual.
• Recommend assistive technology and environmental modifications to increase independence.
• Support participants in home, school, work and community settings.
• Maintain compliance with current legislation and best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive, innovative mindset with a genuine desire to make a difference.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team.
