Nitrogen Technician – Turnaround Projects

About the role

EnerMech is seeking experienced Nitrogen Technicians to support major shutdown campaigns across Australia from August to November 2026. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring liquid nitrogen supply equipment for high‑volume projects in the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor equipment for liquid nitrogen (LN2) supply, including vaporizers and pumps.
• Safely handle cryogenic fluids and conduct routine checks, maintenance and performance monitoring.
• Operate nitrogen membrane units, compressors and dryers for high‑volume nitrogen services.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve plant reliability.
• Uphold EnerMech’s safety, integrity and operational‑excellence standards on all tasks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience operating high‑volume nitrogen membrane units.
• Familiarity with compressors, dryers and nitrogen membranes.
• Previous experience on LNG facilities or shutdown campaigns (essential).
• Understanding of P&IDs, flow diagrams and control systems.
• Australian working rights and ability to pass Safer Together Medical BOSIET.
