Nitrogen Process Technician – LNG Shutdown

About the role

EnerMech is seeking experienced Nitrogen Process Technicians to support a major LNG plant shutdown in Western Australia. The role involves operating temporary nitrogen generation equipment to safely purge systems during the shutdown period, running now through mid‑November 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor Nitrogen Generation Units, high‑pressure air compressors and dryers.
• Carry out operational activities under the direction of the Project Engineer and Supervisor.
• Document operational records and assist with reporting.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Participate in pre‑start meetings and toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Process Technician on shutdown, maintenance or turnaround projects.
• Experience with temporary nitrogen‑related equipment such as membrane units, compressors and dryers.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety standards.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and Construction White Card.
• Ability to pass Safer Together medical assessment.
• Resident of Western Australia and available for local onboarding.
