Night Porter

About the role

ibis Perth, a 192-room hotel managed by Accor in the heart of Perth's shopping and entertainment district, is looking for a Night Porter. The role keeps the hotel's night-time operations running smoothly and safely, welcomes late arrivals and sees off early departures, and suits someone starting a career in the Front Office.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Maintain and confirm reservation details and guest accounts, making sure they are correct.
• Answer customer queries quickly and effectively, using good knowledge of hotel facilities and outlets.
• Walk the hotel routinely and report irregularities to the Night Manager.
• Carry out room service duties and keep front-of-house public areas clean and tidy.
• Support hotel operations and help other departments prepare for the next day.

Required profile

• Friendly, guest-focused attitude and a passion for hospitality.
• Experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures and guest confidentiality.
