Network Infrastructure Engineer – TSPV clearance required

About the role

Leidos Australia is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to deliver secure enterprise infrastructure for nationally significant customer environments. The role is 100% onsite in Melbourne or Canberra and requires a TSPV security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, integrate and maintain enterprise virtualisation platforms (VMware vCenter Server, ESXi) and HPE compute/storage components.
• Implement and support Commvault backup, recovery, retention and data protection services.
• Use VMware Aria or vRealize for automation, orchestration, monitoring and capacity management.
• Monitor platform health, capacity, performance and availability; investigate incidents and deliver patching, upgrades, migrations and technology refreshes.
• Apply infrastructure security, hardening, access control and configuration management practices while maintaining technical documentation.

Required profile

• Australian citizen with current TSPV clearance (and ability to meet ITAR requirements).
• Experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong troubleshooting, analytical and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities in a mission‑focused environment.

Required skills

• VMware vCenter Server and ESXi (HA clusters, resource allocation, lifecycle management).
• HPE server, compute or storage technologies.
• Commvault backup and recovery solutions.
• VMware Aria and/or vRealize products for monitoring, automation or orchestration.
• Infrastructure security, hardening, patching and configuration management principles.
