Network Engineer (BAU Support) - Sydney

About the role

A consultancy of about 130 people, delivering major projects and managed services, is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer for its managed services team. The role supports both day-to-day operations and project-based network and security initiatives for a major enterprise client. It is based in Sydney with three days onsite at Mascot, and starts as a 6-month contract with a strong view to permanency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support across the enterprise network and security environments
• Contribute to project delivery alongside BAU responsibilities
• Work with an experienced team to gain exposure to best practices and advanced technologies

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching
• Practical knowledge of Fortinet firewalls
• Background in enterprise environments
• Growth mindset suited to a mid-level engineer who wants to upskill, learn from others and achieve certifications
