Network and Systems Administrator

About the role

Fresh Hope Communities is looking for a Network and Systems Administrator to join its ICT team. Reporting to the Infrastructure and Network Manager, you will ensure that the organisation’s networks, servers, systems and cloud platforms remain operational, secure and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity issues and implement security measures.
• Administer Windows server environments, applications and operating systems.
• Manage backup and recovery processes to guarantee business continuity.
• Support device management platforms such as Intune, Google Enterprise and Samsung Knox.
• Control user access rights, permissions and security settings.
• Liaise with Managed Service Providers, vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain seamless operations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures and user resources.
• Provide Level 3 technical support and resolve complex incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing ICT infrastructure, including networks, servers and cloud platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders and produce documentation.
• Relevant qualifications in networking or systems administration (desirable).
• Certification in Microsoft 365 administration and/or Juniper Networks (highly desirable).
• Previous experience in the aged‑care or not‑for‑profit sector (desirable).
• Current Criminal History Check and NSW driver licence with ability to travel across NSW.
