.NET Integration Developer

About the role

A company is looking for a Senior Integration Developer with strong experience in .NET, REST APIs, Azure and RabbitMQ to design, develop and support secure enterprise integrations. The role covers building new APIs, integrating with existing ones, developing messaging solutions and supporting integrations through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop REST APIs using C#/.NET, and manage APIs with Azure API Management (APIM)
• Integrate with existing internal and external APIs
• Build RabbitMQ publishers, consumers, queues and exchanges, including retry, error handling and dead-letter queues
• Develop Azure solutions with Azure Functions, App Service and Service Bus, using Azure Key Vault and CyberArk for secret management
• Support service accounts, AD groups and credential rotation
• Develop and support integrations with SQL Server
• Implement OAuth 2.0, TLS/certificates and least-privilege authentication and authorisation
• Write unit and integration tests, build CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, and use Application Insights for logging and monitoring
• Troubleshoot integration issues, provide production support and take part in code reviews

Required profile

• Senior-level experience in software and integration development
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with architects, technical leads, security, infrastructure, database and testing teams

Required skills

• C#/.NET and REST APIs
• Azure API Management, Azure Functions, App Service, Service Bus, Azure Key Vault and preferably CyberArk
• RabbitMQ and SQL Server / T-SQL
• Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Unit and integration testing, authentication, authorisation and application security

Desirable: experience with WEM, energy markets or utilities; enterprise integration platforms; security remediation, service accounts and privileged-access management.
