National Product Manager, Group Product

About the role

Lead technical excellence and innovation for Zurich's Group Insurance product team, shaping sustainable, commercially viable solutions and driving digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage sustainable Group Insurance products and maintain product governance.
• Prioritise and deliver product support, monitor performance, and drive enhancements and roadmaps.
• Support tenders, pricing, sales and retention opportunities while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate across product teams, build stakeholder relationships and enhance Zurich’s external product profile.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of the Australian Group or Life Insurance market and superannuation environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements for Group and Life Insurance.
• Proactive, commercially minded with strong analytical and commercial judgement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Actuarial expertise or qualifications (highly regarded).
• Experience using AI for product innovation and process improvement.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical product and risk decisions.
