National Events Manager

About the role

Dawnbreak is seeking a National Events Manager to lead the operational planning, delivery and review of its Sunrise Silent Disco events across Australia. This full‑time role is primarily remote, with travel required for on‑site national tours and peak event periods.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive event plans, run sheets, timelines, site maps and staffing schedules.
• Manage event set‑up, live operations and pack‑down, ensuring safety, professionalism and budget compliance.
• Coordinate event infrastructure such as DJ areas, silent‑disco headset stations, signage, first‑aid, ticket scanning, hydration stations and vendor flow.
• Lead event‑day briefings and ensure all staff, suppliers and contractors understand their responsibilities.
• Handle council approvals, venue applications, documentation and maintain strong relationships with councils, landowners and authorities.
• Monitor budgets, supplier contracts and oversee logistics for each event.

Required profile

• Proven experience in event management or large‑scale event operations.
• Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities, especially under pressure.
• Passion for community‑focused, sober‑focused events and ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and council engagement.
