Engagement and Change Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an Engagement and Change Consultant to join Aurecon’s national Engagement & Change Advisory practice in Perth. You will help shape sustainable outcomes by designing and delivering communication, stakeholder engagement and social value strategies for infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Work within a multidisciplinary team on transport, water, mining and energy projects, focusing on strategic infrastructure and renewable energy.
• Support stakeholder meetings, workshops and forums to achieve project milestones.
• Develop communication materials that underpin engagement activities and project requirements.
• Deliver engagement services that prioritize social outcomes and community impact.
• Capture community sentiment and data using digital platforms.
• Contribute to proposal development and maintain a pipeline of future opportunities.
• Define social value strategies and conduct social impact assessments.
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement change strategies.

Required profile

• Passionate about best‑practice communication, stakeholder engagement and social value creation.
• Experience working on infrastructure or renewable energy projects across sectors such as transport, water, mining or energy.
• Ability to engage diverse communities, understand lived experiences and translate insights into actionable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.
