National Account Manager – FMCG / Homewares

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, high‑performing National Account Manager to drive growth across our major FMCG retail partnerships. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, you will own core Coles and Woolworths accounts while expanding opportunities with Aldi and Costco.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary commercial lead for Coles and Woolworths, managing day‑to‑day operations, joint business plans and stakeholder engagement.
• Grow targeted accounts within Aldi and Costco, tailoring product strategies to each retailer’s model.
• Lead range reviews, promotional planning, new product development launches and trade spend management to optimise ROI.
• Manage sales forecasting, P&L performance, volume targets, trade spend budgets and gross margin optimisation.
• Use customer scan data, market trends and shopper insights to build business cases, range proposals and space optimisation strategies.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, marketing and finance to ensure high order fill rates and seamless campaign execution.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a National Account Manager or Senior Key Account Manager in FMCG/Consumer Goods.
• Strong commercial relationships and direct negotiation experience with Coles and Woolworths; experience with Aldi and/or Costco is highly desirable.
• High proficiency in managing account P&Ls, trade spend budgets and revenue growth management.
• Exceptional numerical skills with hands‑on experience interpreting scan data (Quantium, Aztec/IRI, Nielsen).
• Outstanding communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
