NACE Level 2 Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector will work in a factory environment conducting visual inspections, surface profile and dry‑film‑thickness tests on industrial corrosion protection projects. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role ensures that customer specifications and quality standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on visual inspections, surface profile tests and daily DFT testing.
• Act as the primary interface between customer service and production staff to address customer requirements.
• Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, quantity and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate records in job folders and uphold the quality management system.
• Communicate any issues that could affect production start‑up or continuation to the Production Manager.
• Coordinate with external engineers and QA inspectors as the main point of contact.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of quality assurance experience in the industrial corrosion sector.
• NACE Level 2 certification (mandatory).
• Strong ability to interpret technical specifications of materials and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple internal teams.
• Attention to detail and a keen interest in quality assurance.
