Monitoring Centre Operator

About the role

Ultimate Security is looking for customer‑service‑focused Monitoring Centre Operators to join its Grade A1 Certified monitoring centre. The role operates on a rotating 24/7 roster, handling alarms and video surveillance for a range of residential, commercial and government sites across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and video surveillance systems across multiple sites.
• Respond to alarm activations, system faults and dispatch guards or patrols as required.
• Handle customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Generate and maintain accurate reports and data entry records.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements and internal standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1E Security Licence.
• Previous experience working in a monitoring room or similar environment.
• Ability to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent phone etiquette.
• Capability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Mastermind EX monitoring platform.
• Competence in Microsoft Office applications, especially Outlook.
• Data entry experience.
