Mobility Specialist

About the role

Datacom is hiring a Mobility Specialist in Perth to join its Intelligent Workspace team. The Mobility Services team supports customers' mobile environments day to day, recommends best practices and designs, builds and supports solutions so customers can move to modern managed solutions. As a Mobility Specialist you will run the day-to-day operations of customer EMM systems with minimal direction, focusing on an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver services to customers in line with SLAs, including operational support, proactive monitoring, incident resolution and standard and non-standard changes
• Build customer environments with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Omnissa WS1, MobiControl and Apple Business (VPP and MDM servers)
• Create design documents (HLD, DDD, LLD) and act as technical lead or design engineer on deployments and refresh projects
• Follow ITIL processes (change, release) and provide governance for iOS, Android and Chrome OS device implementations
• Manage risks and issues, support major incidents, and keep tickets, time sheets and documentation up to date
• Train less experienced staff, support bid responses, product briefings and proof-of-concept projects, and help with shift-left initiatives
• Deliver projects on schedule and budget, collaborate closely with customers, and support pre-sales scoping
• Meet customer satisfaction and team engagement expectations, including after-hours work when needed

Required profile

• 5 years of IT industry experience, preferably in an IT managed service provider, with about 2 years in a similar mobility role
• Excellent troubleshooting, customer service, communication and prioritisation skills, able to work autonomously with minimal supervision

Required skills

• Knowledge of iOS, Android, macOS and Windows 10
• Networking, TCP/IP, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and enterprise applications
• MobileIron, Google Admin, VMware WS1 (SEG, UAG, ENS) and/or Microsoft Intune administration are a big advantage
