Mobile Plant Operator

About the role

The Mobile Plant Operator will join the Load and Haul team to safely and efficiently operate mobile plant and ancillary mining production equipment. This position supports daily production targets while adhering to ConsMin safety, environmental and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant and ancillary mining equipment in line with site requirements and manufacturer specifications.
• Demonstrate an operational understanding of load‑and‑haul activities, equipment capabilities and production processes.
• Apply open‑pit mine safety practices and follow all environmental management procedures.
• Participate in training, development and up‑skilling opportunities.
• Maintain effective communication with contractors, commercial partners and internal departments.
• Undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by the manager.

Required profile

• Minimum C Class Driver’s Licence.
• Certificate II or III in RII surface extraction.
• Applied First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003).
• 2+ years experience operating mobile plant machinery in a mining environment (desired).
• Understanding of fleet management systems (desired).
