Mobile Developer (React Native)

About the role

Restive is seeking a Mobile Developer with strong React Native expertise to create high‑quality mobile applications for a major retail client. The role focuses on delivering seamless, customer‑centric experiences across shopping, payments, loyalty and account management on both iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers and platform teams to define and deliver new mobile features.
• Build scalable, maintainable applications using React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design polished, responsive user interfaces that meet accessibility and performance standards.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services for payments, loyalty, notifications and account management.
• Conduct code reviews, optimise performance, and ensure security and reliability across a wide range of devices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and promote continuous improvement within the team.

Required profile

• Full working rights in Australia.
• Strong commercial experience developing production‑grade mobile apps with React Native.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling cross‑platform challenges.
