Mobile Application Developer (React Native)

About the role

We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer with deep expertise in React Native to own and expand our field‑operations mobile tools. Based in Sydney’s North Shore, you will work directly with the CTO to shape the mobile roadmap, extending an existing React Native toolkit and building a new Capacitor‑based app from scratch.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the current React Native codebase, document gaps and add features as field operations evolve.
• Design and deliver a green‑field Capacitor application, wrapping the mobile website and integrating native plugins such as push notifications, camera and offline support.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery including code signing, versioning, compliance and submission to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Translate high‑level product briefs into clear technical specifications together with the CTO and product stakeholders.
• Occasionally contribute fixes and features to the core React web platform to keep web and mobile experiences aligned.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on mobile development with React Native as the primary framework.
• Proven track record of independently publishing apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Self‑directed, able to own the full deployment pipeline from build to production.
• Comfortable shaping requirements rather than following a detailed spec sheet.
