Mining Principal Pursuits Partner

About the role

This newly created, full‑time position supports AECOM’s mining sector across Australia, especially Western Australia. Based in Perth, you will lead the Pursuits team, developing high‑quality proposals that exceed client expectations and differentiate AECOM in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple pursuits through the full lifecycle, from capture planning to post‑pursuit analysis.
• Develop win strategies and value propositions by deep‑diving into the mining market and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Ensure all submissions meet editorial quality, client focus, and AECOM brand guidelines.
• Coach teams on interview and Q&A preparation and build trusted relationships across the ANZ organisation.

Required profile

• 8+ years experience in bid or proposal management, preferably in professional services or mining.
• Exceptional written, verbal and client communication skills.
• Strong project‑management capability with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strategic thinking and facilitation skills to develop differentiated pursuit strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using standard bid tools such as capture plans and compliance matrices.
