About the role
Hire Resolve is partnering with hospitality organisations across Australia to recruit experienced professionals for mid‑senior level positions. The roles span hotel and resort operations, food & beverage leadership, guest experience, events and revenue management, offering a pathway to senior leadership such as Head of Department, Operations Manager or General Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day operations across accommodation, F&B outlets, events and multi‑department environments to meet service and financial targets.
- Drive guest experience standards, quality assurance and service recovery processes.
- Manage workforce planning, rostering and team performance through coaching and structured performance management.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting and cost controls, including labour productivity and procurement efficiency.
- Implement SOPs, brand standards and compliance processes, including WHS, risk assessments and incident reporting.
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards, supporting audit readiness and regulatory inspections.
- Partner with commercial and revenue functions to optimise occupancy, ADR/RevPAR, covers and profitability.
- Manage supplier relationships, stock control and operational readiness for peak periods and major events.
- Produce operational reporting, analyse KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support strategic initiatives such as new openings, refurbishments or turnaround programmes.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification preferred (Hospitality Management, Business or related) or equivalent experience.
- 5–12+ years of progressive hospitality experience in hotels, resorts, restaurants, pubs, leisure venues or multi‑site operations.
- Demonstrated leadership capability managing teams and operational performance.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, labour planning and KPI‑driven decision making.
- Working knowledge of Australian employment practices and WHS requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in English and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, RMS and CRM.
- Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
