Mid-weight Wayfinding & Signage Designer

About the role

Davenport Campbell, a multidisciplinary studio focused on workplace interiors, is looking for a Mid-weight Wayfinding & Signage Designer to join its in‑house team in Sydney CBD. The role will support the growing environmental, signage and graphics capability, working across the full lifecycle of wayfinding and signage projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the Head of Graphics and senior interior designers.
• Develop signage strategy documents, hierarchies and templated systems.
• Plan, design and oversee implementation of wayfinding and signage solutions from brief to installation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers to ensure project alignment.
• Produce specification and construction documentation, including use of SignAgent software for location planning.
• Manage workflow, monitor scope changes and maintain quality control in print production and typography.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience on large‑scale signage projects (identification, directional, operational, statutory).
• Strong design aesthetic and ability to translate briefs into clear graphics.
• Architectural sensibility and experience with construction documentation is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
