Mid-weight Freelance Graphic Designer

About the role

Seamer Design, a Melbourne and Ballarat‑based branding and design studio, is seeking a mid‑weight freelance graphic designer to support overflow work and ongoing projects. This fully remote, project‑based role offers flexible arrangements for a talented designer who can deliver high‑quality visual solutions across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Produce design assets for reports, brand collateral, and presentations.
• Interpret and apply existing brand guidelines while adding a strong design perspective.
• Manage multiple freelance assignments, meeting deadlines independently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across government, education, corporate, and strategic communication projects.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience.
• Detail‑oriented, easy to work with, and confident delivering polished, professional work.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
• Excellent layout and typography abilities.
• Experience designing reports, brand collateral, and presentations.
