Mental Health Clinician - Registered Psychologist

About the role

Access Psych, part of the MedHealth group, offers face-to-face and telehealth mental health support to individuals and corporate customers across Australia. It is looking for an AHPRA-registered psychologist to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in Toowoomba, Queensland, working with Workers Compensation schemes, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) clients and Medicare clients. The role is part-time, requires the ability to see clients face to face when needed, and can be a hybrid telehealth/face-to-face arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based mental health training, assessment and treatment to clients with a range of conditions and goals
• Work with clients, medical and allied health professionals, case managers and employers to help people return to work and re-engage with the community
• Complete assessments and interventions using clinical skills
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with organisational and regulatory standards

Required profile

• AHPRA-registered psychologist
• Permanent residency in Australia
• Willingness to obtain NSW SIRA accreditation and Worksafe VIC
• Interest in and willingness to work with workers compensation clients
• Passion for improving lives through work and health, and desire to join a dynamic, social and hard-working team
