Medical Secretary

About the role

Genea Perth is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join its Patient Support Services team. You will be the first point of contact for patients and external stakeholders while providing high‑quality administrative assistance in a busy fertility clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Front‑reception greeting of patients and stakeholders.
• Booking patient appointments and preparing files for doctors.
• Coordinating patient files and uploading information into the online system.
• Typing doctors' dictated letters.
• Answering external calls and enquiries from patients, health funds, Medicare and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong administrative background with interest in the medical field.
• Team player who can work across all levels of the organisation.
• Completed secondary education.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with medical programs (advantageous but not essential).
