Medical Receptionist - Concierge

About the role

Bupa Medical Services is looking for a Medical Receptionist in Bowral, New South Wales. The role is the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them and keeping the practice running smoothly while linking patients with the right care team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and kindly, from arrival to departure
• Register new patients and update existing patient information in the clinic's system
• Manage appointment bookings and coordinate with medical staff on consultations, tests and follow-ups
• Assist with payments, health insurance claims and billing inquiries, keeping records accurate and confidential
• Keep the reception area clean, organised and stocked, and monitor inventory and request supplies
• Work closely with the general practice nursing team

Required profile

• Previous GP Medical Receptionist experience is required
• Best Practice experience is advantageous
• Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday
